Apple's iPhone Ready For The UK

UK cellular customers will finally have their opportunity to use the iPhone, because on November 9th, Apple and O2 (a European telecommunications company) will be launching the much-hyped cellular phone product.

UK residents interested in buying the iPhone UK will have to do so from either the Apple store or from the exclusive retail locations that will be carrying the phone. The iPhone price has been initially set at £269, with contracts for £35, £45 or £55 per month, depending on the iPhone plans in the UK. The good news with those prices, is that unlimited Internet (well, fair us will be included on all service plans, and Internet access will be available by either Wi-Fi, or by O2's EDGE wireless network.

The slightly down-side to the network connections however, is that the GPRS system has a tendency to be a bit slow. But if you subscribe to The Cloud network, you'll have broadband Wi-Fi access and extended coverage at several thousand HotSpot locations.

Even so, with all of the other features that the iPhone has to offer, including email, you should be satisfied with the overall coverage, and remember, you can always use it as a telephone too.
